Shawn DeMarco is a junior staff writer for the Lighting Flash. This is his first year on the team, and he mainly covers sports(school and professional), local news, and TV reports. Shawn believes that writing the newspaper will help him strengthen his skills and prepare for future opportunities. He hopes to attend the University of Maryland or Penn State to study journalism. Outside of writing, Shawn enjoys playing football and tack. He also likes spending time playing video games and hanging out with friends. He hopes to eventually become a sports journalist or work at ESPN, or broadcasting.
